A Community Study Group is a group of volunteers from our community who come together to look at what’s really going on and what we can do to make our community a better place to live. They’re especially interested in exploring important local issues like how we grow, what our infrastructure needs, how safe we are, how we protect the environment, and what makes our neighborhoods special. By carefully looking at these things, gathering input from everyone, and checking out the data, the group creates thoughtful papers and ideas that help us all understand what’s happening and what we can do about it. They’re not trying to push a particular agenda, but rather to give us solid, well-researched information that helps us make smart, fair, and lasting choices for our community’s future.
Since the study group is made up of volunteers, not all projects or policies will be review. A sponsor needs to provide resource materials.
